HARTFORD, CT - The Connecticut Chapter of the Exit Planning Exchange ("XPX"), is pleased to announce that Ramsey W. Goodrich, a Managing Director and Partner of Carter Morse & Mathias, was unanimously elected to the Board of Directors of XPX-CT.
Joseph Pucci, the President of the Connecticut Chapter of XPX, and an advisor in the Bernstein Global Wealth Management's New York Office, commented "We are thrilled to have Ramsey join our board and bring his wealth of investment banking expertise as well as his many years of experience managing ACG through its spectacular growth."
Ramsey W. Goodrich is a Managing Director and Partner at Carter Morse & Mathias and the head of the firm’s Consumer Industries group. Mr. Goodrich specializes in advising companies on raising institutional capital, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and other strategic advisory initiatives. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a financial professional advising entrepreneurs, business owners and corporate executives on strategies to maximize shareholder value.
Prior to joining Carter Morse & Mathias, Mr. Goodrich was a managing director of Spinnaker Group Capital Advisors LLC, an investment banking firm based in Darien, Connecticut. Previously, Mr. Goodrich was a vice president of E&Y Corporate Finance, an affiliate of Ernst & Young, in their North America M&A and Capital Markets group and co-founded the Financial Sponsors Coverage Group. During his career, he has also held various advisory positions at Banque Paribas and Chase Manhattan.
Mr. Goodrich is also the Chairman (2011-2012) and Past President (2005-2011) of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a Board advisor to the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX), a member of Connecticut Venture Group, and a former judge for the Crossroads Venture Fair. He is also an active Board member and former Treasurer of Stepping Stones Museum for Children, and is an active volunteer with Wakeman Boys and Girls Club and the Connecticut Challenge, a charity focused on cancer survivorship.
Mr. Goodrich received his master of business administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and his bachelor of arts degree in economics from St. Lawrence University. He also completed MBA graduate studies in international business administration at the Institut Superieur des Affaires (ISA) at L'Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France. Mr. Goodrich holds his NASD Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses and is a Registered Representative for FINRA.
