Bush Industries, Inc., based in Jamestown, NY, was the third largest manufacturer of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture in the United States, and the 12th largest furniture maker overall, sold through office supply and major furniture retailers.
As part of the Company’s growth strategy, management wanted to acquire additional production capacity, design expertise, and access to the European markets.
A principal of Carter Morse & Mathias acted as the Company’s exclusive financial advisor in its acquisition of 51% of Rohr Gruppe, the 10th largest furniture manufacturer in Germany.
