Bio: Mike was most recently the CEO of Williams Distributing (“Williams”), a leading HVAC wholesale distributor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Williams, recently acquired by Daikin Global—one of the world’s largest HVAC corporations—is now proudly part of the Daikin family of brands. The company serves a broad customer base across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, with a primary focus on HVAC products, while also operating in the Kitchen & Bath and Hearth categories. Williams has been recognized as a Top 50 distributor in the ACHR News annual rankings.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Michigan University and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1980. He began his relationship with Williams as an external accountant and joined the company in 1981. Over the years, Mike held increasingly senior leadership roles, ultimately serving as President and, beginning in 2005, as CEO. During his tenure, he also served on the board of the Blue Hawk HVACR Distributor Cooperative, an organization dedicated to supporting the growth and independence of HVACR distributors.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, and playing golf.
