Southport, CT – Carter Morse & Goodrich is proudly sponsoring the tenth anniversary of Push for Entrepreneurship (“PFE”)!  Our Managing Partner, Michael Carter founded PFE in 2014 to be a unique and exhilarating event that challenges participants to push their limits physically and mentally. Last year, Push for Entrepreneurship raised over $80,000 and brought entrepreneurial programs to 4,400 low-income students from across the state of Connecticut.  Over the ten years PFE has raised more than $440,000 to boost innovation and entrepreneurship.

“The instinct to create, to build, and to invent is a fundamental quality in young people,” says Michael Carter. “Unfortunately, the opportunity to exercise these instincts is not nearly so common. With Push For Entrepreneurship, we’re helping democratize these critical innovation education programs by making the program available to all schools.”

Every dollar raised will be donated to the Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching innovation and developing an entrepreneurial mindset.

With CMG’s continued sponsorship of PFE, the firm is making a difference in the lives of students from underserved communities. The funds generated will be used to expand CIC’s programming in these cities, giving young learners the opportunity to enhance their analytical skills, unleash their creativity, and discover their potential as inventors and entrepreneurs.
