Tim Shanley

Tim is currently President/CEO of Tall Tree Foods, a specialty Protein company with four authentic, super-regional Brands. He is leading the repositioning of the brands, streamlining of the supply chain, and professionalizing of the organization to a more relevant, on-trend, growth business.

Most recently he was Interim CEO of Ronnoco Coffee, the leading provider of Specialty Coffee and quality beverage services in the mid-west. Ronnoco is a portfolio company of Huron Capital. He led the efforts to reinvigorate the team, set clear priorities and identify the critical value-creation levers. He led the search for the permanent CEO and still serves on the board.

Prior to Ronnoco he was CEO of Victoria Fine Foods. He created a clean-up, high growth strategy to build the premier, PREMIUM pasta sauce company in the nation. He crafted a coherent Brand image built around a unique, ownable positioning ("Ingredients Come First") leading to a doubling of branded sales and household penetration. The team overhauled the business, leading to an inspiring balance sheet and flexible organization, and ultimately a sale to B&G Foods.

Tim was previously CEO of Carvel/Celebration Foods (a Roark Capital company). He was responsible for building the company into a branded national leader, and turning around its financial condition before orchestrating a sale to Rich Products. At CF he oversaw the revamping of the strategic direction while leading the design and construction of the award winning production facility (Food Engineering Plant of the Year). He created enduring partnerships with customers leading to top line growth of over 70% and EBITDA more than quadrupled.

Tim spent 13 years at Mars Inc. in ever increasing leadership positions across most the key functional areas including Marketing, National Sales, Product Development, Production, and Engineering. Accomplishments include creating the industry setting Co-Marketing department, winning Edison Awards for the SNICKERS® Ice Cream Cones and Starburst® Yogurt bars, pioneering instantly displayable packaging, and increasing margins on established brands.

Tim earned a BS in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He is married to Cindy and has two kids, TK (7) and Reagan (5). He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys golf, photography, and most things outdoors.
