Carter Morse & Goodrich Expands Team With New Analysts

Carter Morse & Goodrich is pleased to announce that it has expanded its execution capabilities with the hiring of two analysts.

Michael Carter, Managing Partner of Carter Morse & Goodrich, commented, “We are continuing our growth with the hiring of both Emmett Iheagwara and Nick Sciortino. Both excelled during their internships with CMG over the past couple of months, and we are excited to have them join us on a full time basis focused on transaction execution for our family-held and founder-led clients.”

Emmett Iheagwara
Prior to joining CMG, Emmett worked at a boutique full-service sports agency located in New York. Emmett worked closely with an NBPA-licensed agent in scouting and recruiting college basketball athletes.

As a law student, Emmett served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Michael C. Bolden, Chief Judge for the South Boston Division of the Boston Municipal Court in Massachusetts, and as an in-house counsel intern at a New England based mortgage lending company. He is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.

Emmett holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut, where he was a student manager for the Division 1 National Champion Men’s Basketball program and a member of the Men’s Club Basketball team. Emmett also received his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

Nick Sciortino

Nick

Prior to joining CMG, Nick spent time as a Transaction Management intern at Cushman & Wakefield in New York and a Wealth Management intern at UBS in Connecticut. Nick worked at his father’s haberdashery in New York where he has experienced first-hand the commitment that goes into running a family-owned business.

Nick attended Fairfield University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a minor in Accounting. During his time at Fairfield, Nick was also a member of the Men’s Club Baseball team.

CMG is currently looking to hire a mid-level transaction execution professional (senior associate or vice president level) who would be located at our Southport, CT headquarters office. This candidate should demonstrate a track record of high achievement with 3-7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions or related fields such as accounting, finance or commercial lending. Other qualities a successful candidate should possess include excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, a “take ownership” attitude and high emotional intelligence. Most importantly, there should be a fit with the CMG culture.
