Nitech, Inc. developed a platform for managing overhead power lines, consisting of utility engineering applications: data acquisition, data monitoring and logging the parameters of high voltage overhead conductors.
The Company had been funded by Niagara Mohawk which had invested tens of millions into Nitech’s technology over several years.
Nitech sold its business to Underground Systems, Incorporated, which invested capital into the business and continues to manage this technology. Carter Morse & Mathias represented Nitech in its sale to USI, serving as its exclusive financial advisor in arranging, structuring and negotiating the transaction.
